JUNIOR SQUADS

How do our lessons work? 

Our sessions follow the LTA Mini Tennis Scheme - This means that players move through the different stages as they get older and their ability improves. Your child will be placed in the most appropriate stage for their age and ability, this is to aid their enjoyment and progression in the sport. The different stages mean that a different coloured ball is used in each stage as well as a different sized court.

Why are different balls and court sizes used? 

The different ball stages are used to make the game easier - the balls change in size and pressure which makes the ball bounce differently and move at different speeds. The court sizes mean that players have less court to cover and that the court grows in size as the player gets older and more able.
